Much has been happening as 2010 unfolds, and in the midst of a very busy performance schedule, Barry is also currently in the process of shaping together the many different elements of his musical journey into a redefined direction, as well as some all-new endeavors. Barry is in the midst of a hectic and busy summer of extensive performing and also trips to Nashville to finish recording some of the new songs to be released later this year.

Barry's happy to have had the opportunity to spend the past few days in Nashville, where he was able to team up once again with friend and These Are the Days producer Shay Watson to record some new songs. Also working on the new music is Joe Nash, the other half of the up-and-coming Country/Rock/Pop duo Watson and Nash (www.watsonandnash.com / www.myspace.com/watsonandnash).

Barry will be traveling to the Pacific island of Guam for a series of concerts and workshops November 3-13, 2008, as a guest of the producers of CTVN's Catholics On the Move, which has featured Barry's music and airs on television programming in the Diocese of Agana.

Barry will be making a number of appearances. During the main concert of the trip, he will be joined by Cherie Wegner, Shawn Wegner, and Cathy Castro of Trinity and the St. Francis Catholic School Honor Choir. Opening for Barry will be Closer To Heaven Band. Much more information to come!

Barry is proud to announce the official release of Where I Want To Be, an Extended Play CD containing three new songs, one of which is a version of "I Wanna Know," a 1997 song written by songwriter and recording artist Brian Cooney (www.briancooneyministries.com). In addition to these three, there is a remixed version of "Are You Listening," a track from the 2005 album These Are the Days. The EP also includes "Never Lose Faith," previously released in 2006. 'Are You Listening,' penned by Barry, Jacob Wiley, and Shay Watson, is featured on the new release by Levity Records/Radio Disney Artist Cali. Her CD, which contains the song, will be available at Wal-Mart beginning in May. For more information check out the following links:

Barry had the opportunity to meet former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev as he arrived in Rhode Island to participate in a leadership conference at Carnegie Abbey in Portsmouth. Barry presented President Gorbachev with a copy of "These Are the Days." However, rumors that the former Soviet leader was later heard humming "Child of the 80s" could not be confirmed or denied.
